Anchora asked: I have 8+ years of Taste of Home, Country Woman and other magazines that all have recipes. I love cooking magazines, but I don’t know what to do with them. I can’t seem to bear throwing them out even tho I know the chances of me looking at them again are basically nill. Each magazine has too many recipes to cut them out and then it would just be a pile of recipes. What have others done with their old magazines?

Bethany asked: I want to be a journalist. I suscribed to TIME magazine and try to read the paper to get an idea of what’s going on and some of the journalists points of view and styles of writing. Does anybody know of any other good magazines or papers I can read to better prepare myself for journalism?
Obviously I realize that I have to go to college for journalism. I just want some stuff to read in addition.

charlie1138 asked: My grandfather built his own house in the 50’s to 60’s and he built it based on plans he found in a magazine. But I do’t know what magazine. I would like to try to find these plans. Does anyone know what magazine he might have seen this in? What magazines had these? Someone told me it was from popular mechanics.. but I can’t find anything supporting that popular mechanics had house plans. Maybe he found the plans advertised in popular mechanics?
Any info would be much appreciated..
It’s a fairly modern looking house.. it had kind of a craftsman vibe to it.. but it didn’t really have craftsman design elements I don’t believe..

Jen asked: I’m going to get my hair cut, and I need ideas. What magazines (or websites) should I look at for pictures of cute hairstyles? I have very long straight blonde hair, and my bangs are completely grown out, so I’m a “blank slate” for hairstyles right now. I don’t want to go short; something below the shoulders, and maybe some sideswept bangs. Any ideas? Thanks!
