Do you think magazines and Hollywod are making girls anorexic or think they are fat?

I have noticed all these girls in the 4th grade even worried about being fat. It’s just amazing how much girls are worried about that. I mean there are a lot of the people in Hollywood or magazines that girls tend to think they should look like and some people say they should when they don’t. There is a series problem with that. What does everybody else think?

How do I get short stories published in magazines etc?

I’m from the UK and wondering which magazines are the best to write to. Is there a method to getting stories printed or is it just a case of writing to as many places as possible and hoping for the best?
Would be grateful for any advice from anybody who has penned short stories.
I was thinking more along the lines of practical advice. But thanks!

How do I get my quilts published in magazines?

I have been quilting for several years, and started long arm quilting 4 years ago. This summer I won 2 second place ribbons at the Iowa State Fair, and 6 quilts that I long armed placed at the state fair. How would I go about getting my work published in quilting magazines or books?
